April 7, 2018 Saturday

A big gust of wind woke me up about 3:30 and I was wide awake ... might be a long day or a nap might be involved. :)

DAILY PRAYERS:
Prayed for 65 members of my family.
Prayed for the Salvation Praying Group to increase to 12 by the end of the year.
Prayed for the Power Hour of Prayer Group to increase to 24 by the end of the year.
Prayed for church average attendance to continue to increase to 150 by the end of the year.
Prayed for 29 prayer warriors by name
Prayed for 40 church members by name
Prayed for the 205 on our list of the lost
Prayed forgiveness of any sin I may  have committed and I pray for wisdom & guidance

PRAISES AND BLESSINGS:
Last night was the first session of Life Track round three. Robin, Doc Sandy, Joe and Sean came to
the class. It was really a great time and a new atmosphere since it was in the class room rather the sanctuary. At the end Sean gave me a big hug and thanked me for praying for him. His sincere hug was a real blessing to me. Doc Sandy wants to become a member and Joe wants to be baptized!

BIBLE READING:
1 Corinthians 6
My body is not my own. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. My body was purchased by the blood of Jesus. I have abused my body in many ways and I must remember this!

BOOK READING:
"Listening for God" by Marilyn Hontz
As I create my "to do list" for each day, I have never included God's things for me to do! Her example was that she asked God what he wanted her to do and 5 names came to mind that she need to send a card to or call ... so that is something I need to do ... part of my call to action which starts my day and stays with me.

MY CALL TO ACTION TODAY:
I thought of this the last few days but have not acted upon it. I need to let the people in the prayer groups know how thankful I am for them and that I pray for them daily. It keeps coming to my mind so I am thinking it must be from God.
Also, just to mind is the "Sunshine Bags" - I think we need to do this for Judy Miller. She has suffered the loss of her mother and faced so many health challenges this year.

Have a blessed day.
