April 25, 2018 Wednesday

Day three of my fast. I continue to pray for the new breakfast program and that it will be a vehicle to bring women closer to God.
Tonight I am leading the Purpose class for Pastor Sheridan as he has taken a few days off. Little to no preparation, so a bit nervous and praying that it all goes as the Lord sees fit.

DAILY PRAYERS:
Prayed for 66 members of my family.
Prayed for the Salvation Praying Group to increase to 12 by the end of the year.
Prayed for the Power Hour of Prayer Group to increase to 24 by the end of the year.
Prayed for church average attendance to continue to increase to 150 by the end of the year.
Prayed for 18 prayer warriors by name
Prayed for 40 church members by name
Praying for 48 of the lost in our Salvation group by name
Prayed for the (7) personal requests that have been confidentially asked of me to pray.
Prayed forgiveness of any sin I may have committed. I pray for wisdom, guidance and ears to hear and for feet to follow.
Pray for our church to be a house of prayer and the prayer life of the congregation to be elevated.
Pray for my dear friend Donna every day!

PRAISES AND BLESSINGS:
We are being blessed with exceptionally beautiful weather. Thankful that I feel good enough to accomplish a few tasks - like starting the cleaning of the garage.

BIBLE READING:
 2 Corinthians 9
God loves a cheerful giver!

BOOK READING:
"Listening for God" by Marilyn Hontz
This is such an awesome book. Isaiah 30:21 says "This is the way; walk in it." If we listen God will tell us what to do. He wants to speak to us and guide us. A.W Tozer said "God is looking for people through whom He can do the impossible--what a pity that we plan only the things we can do by ourselves." If I feel an impulse to do something I need to pray about it first. I may have a plan to do it one way and God may have an amazingly better way if I only listen first.  I need to ask Him in prayer how He wants me to partner with Him - not just go off on my own and do what I think I should.

MY CALL TO ACTION TODAY/MY TIME OF SILENCE NOTES:
I have had Donna Rose deeply on my heart and mind. She is not one of my favorite people, but I am sure God put her in my life to teach me something about myself.  I sent her a prayer this morning after feeling that tug at my heart. Also, I "angeled" a friend of mine through cancer many years ago and she and her husband said it made all the difference. She passed away, but there were moments of joy in the pain because of the distraction. I sent cards and little things in the mail a couple times a week. Often it arrived on a day when she was having a hard time and it lifted them up when they needed it. So I am feeling that I shall be "angeling" Donna. I learned from my reading that I need to pray about this and let God lead me ... not just do it on my own.

Have a blessed day.
