Another dreary rainy day - but it is Sunday and I do enjoy this as my day of rest, church and fellowship!
DAILY PRAYERS:
Prayed for 66 members of my family.
Prayed for 18 prayer warriors by name
Prayed for 54 church members by name
Praying for 50 people from our lost list by name.
Prayed for the (9) personal requests that have been confidentially asked of me to pray.
Prayed forgiveness of any sin I may have committed. I pray for wisdom, guidance and ears to hear and for feet to follow.
Pray for our church to be a house of prayer and the prayer life of the congregation to be elevated.
Prayed for the Salvation Praying Group to increase.
Prayed for the Power Hour of Prayer Group to increase.
Prayed for church average attendance to continue to increase to 150 by the end of the year.
Pray for my dear friend Donna every day!
PRAISES AND BLESSINGS:
Doug and Shirley asked me to come up and play dominoes last night ... it was fun.
The thunder did not bother Pebbles too much - that was a blessing.
BIBLE READING:
Galatians 1
Paul telling us that He learned the truth, the gospel from Jesus himself for a period of 3 years. How exciting that had to be. After he had tried to destroy Christians, to find the truth in such a miraculous way! I can't even imagine ... what a precious time that had to be.
BOOK READING:
"TOO BUSY NOT TO PRAY" by Bill Hybels
God and I used to be occasional visitors, but the Holy Spirit led me to learn more about prayer. As I grow in prayer - by reading books about it, by studying every prayer verse in the Bible, but mostly by praying ... God reveals more of himself to me. Bill points out exactly what I am learning! Confirmation is an awesome tool.
MY CALL TO ACTION TODAY/MY TIME OF SILENCE NOTES:
God, what are You doing in the world today that I can help You with?
That is my new question for the day prior to leaving my prayer time!
Last night I had a dream - just a flash, that Doug questioned about God. That would be amazing. I will be spending time with them on Monday so maybe just maybe God is stirring up something in his life. That is such a strange strange flash of a dream.
Today I shall just be still and know God, feel His presence!
Have a blessed day.
