May 7, 2018 Monday

Feeling a bit better this morning, but could go back to bed ... however, I have a few things that need to be taken care of and Doug and Shirley are coming again this afternoon.

DAILY PRAYERS:
Prayed for 66 members of my family.
Prayed for 18 prayer warriors by name
Prayed for 40 church members by name
Praying for 53 of the lost on our list by name.

Prayed for the personal requests that have been confidentially asked of me to pray.
Prayed forgiveness of any sin I may have committed. I pray for wisdom, guidance and ears to hear and for feet to follow.
Pray for our church to be a house of prayer and the prayer life of the congregation to be elevated.
Prayed for the Salvation Praying Group to increase.
Prayed for the Power Hour of Prayer Group to increase.
Prayed for church average attendance to continue to increase to 150 by the end of the year.
Pray for my dear friend Donna every day!

PRAISES AND BLESSINGS:
Pastor Sheridan's sermon was recorded so I could listen to it this morning. It was awesome.

BIBLE READING:
Ephesians 2
Continued in chapter 2, Jesus is the cornerstone. By his blood on the cross He brought together the Gentiles and the Jews ... one people under Him. One body - if we could all accept that we would live in a paradise right here, right now.

 BOOK READING:
"TOO BUSY NOT TO PRAY" by Bill Hybels
I did not always believe deep in my heart that God could handle my problems. The real reason my prayers were weak was that my faith was weak. Somewhere deep down, I didn't believe God could handle my problems or for those around me. I didn't want to stay there ... I had to make a change where it really counts - in my heart. My head told me God created planets and raised people from the dead - nothing is too difficult for God to handle, but He was waiting for me to recognize His power and to ask for His help. So I study the Bible seeking those passages that show me His power. I list out my prayers and His answers to those prayers ... He strengthens my prayer life, He shows me His power, He builds up my faith - I do not do it on my own.

MY CALL TO ACTION TODAY/MY TIME OF SILENCE NOTES:
Today is another day of rest and to cherish the presence of my Lord.
I am feeling the call - a second time to reach out to our women and ask them to make some Sunshine Sacks to take to Donna Rose on Monday the 14th when I go visit her for her infusion time.

Have a blessed day.
