I need a burst of energy, for some reason I seemed to have lost my pep about getting the yard work done when I have to work around so many things that I schedule. Sitting here thinking if I didn't have staff meeting ... hmmm I could really get things done. But it is in 3 hours so I dare start. Oh well, maybe it will not be so hot this afternoon and I can get out there.
DAILY PRAYERS:
Prayed for 66 members of my family.
Prayed for 18 prayer warriors by name
Prayed for 40 church members by name
Praying for 50 of the lost on our list by name.
Prayed for the personal requests that have been confidentially asked of me to pray.
Prayed forgiveness of any sin I may have committed. I pray for wisdom, guidance and ears to hear and for feet to follow.
Pray for our church to be a house of prayer and the prayer life of the congregation to be elevated.
Prayed for the Salvation Praying Group to increase.
Prayed for the Power Hour of Prayer Group to increase.
Prayed for the new "Shield of Faith Prayer Group" if it is your plan, your desire.
Prayed for my new position as one of the Stewards that I am equipped to do a good job.
Prayed for our women's prayer breakfast group WINGS
Prayed for church average attendance to continue to increase to 150 by the end of the year.
Pray for my dear friend Donna every day!

Jesus says in Matthew 6:5 - WHEN you pray not IF you pray ... He expects us to pray. He expects us to shut out the world and be in the presence of the Father. Finding your own prayer space - a corner in a room, a closet, a garage, your office, a bench in the back yard ... whatever works for you ... when you start to use that space regularly to pray, a kind of aura surrounds it. Your prayer space becomes to you what the Garden of Gethsemane became to Jesus - a holy place, a place where God meets with you.
