It is raining ever so lightly out right now ... on a warm day I love walking in this kind of rain. But it is early morning and not so warm ... so I shall just enjoy the freshness as I sit inside.
DAILY PRAYERS:
Prayed for 66 members of my family.
Prayed for 18 prayer warriors by name
Prayed for 40 church members by name
Praying for 54 of the lost on our list by name.
Prayed for the personal requests that have been confidentially asked of me to pray.
Prayed forgiveness of any sin I may have committed. I pray for wisdom, guidance and ears to hear and for feet to follow.
Pray for our church to be a house of prayer and the prayer life of the congregation to be elevated.
Prayed for the Salvation Praying Group to increase.
Prayed for the Power Hour of Prayer Group to increase.
Prayed for the new "Shield of Faith Prayer Group" if it is your plan, your desire.
Prayed for church average attendance to continue to increase to 150 by the end of the year.
Pray for my dear friend Donna every day!
PRAISES AND BLESSINGS:
Denise has always said I am like her second mom ... she brought me the annual hanging plant basket. She is such a blessing to me. Then Angie Maddox, who I barely know brought me Turkey and Dumplings ... I was so blessed.
BIBLE READING:
Ephesians 5
Live in the light of Christ ... Verse 8 "For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light."
BOOK READING:
"TOO BUSY NOT TO PRAY" by Bill Hybels
Again talking about God's power to change lives. As we read the Bible we see it ... Moses who was shy became a great leader, Peter who was weak and denied Jesus became Peter the rock that helped build the church, Paul the persecutor -wow he really changed, on and on ... this is history not myth!
MY CALL TO ACTION TODAY/MY TIME OF SILENCE NOTES:
I think it is time I tell Terry Graham to look for a new assistant to Children's Ministry. With the prayer groups and as a Steward on the Board my time is being pretty well used. I do not want to be burned out and I have so much to do in the yard and save time for family events.
Have a blessed day.
