PRAISES AND BLESSINGS:
The camp trip went so well and that was a blessing. Sitting in the morning with coffee and watching the river flow by was so calming and reminds me of all God made for us to enjoy.

BIBLE READING:
2 Timothy 2
Verse 23: Have nothing to do with stupid and senseless controversies, you know that they breed quarrels.
So often we are drawn into such things and it is best to remember this verse.

 BOOK READING:
"TOO BUSY NOT TO PRAY" by Bill Hybels
Todays reading says God is our best friend. No matter how close we are to our spouse, children or friends they will eventually leave us by death or not be around all the time when we need them ... but God is and will always be with us. Proverbs 18:24 says "There is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. I have really started experiencing this since Dick passed away. I still have anger issues and fight it - but God is always right there to comfort me and he is faithful when I am not.
